FHNW Mediathek
Mediathek is the library of the Academy of Art and Design Basel FHNW. In addition to literature on design and art, it offers a wide range of freely accessible digital art resources. The focus is on collections related to performance art. In addition, it holds historical archives of video art and is a valuable resource for scholars and the broader public. Most of the resources relate to contemporary Swiss art.

The Media Library's Integrated Catalogue (InK) brings together digital resources on the performing, visual and design arts. In addition to sources from the Academy of Art and Design Basel, it contains a substantial number of special collections from outside the university. Entries are characterized by a wide variety of source types and media formats. Many sources are cluster entries, where several files are attached to a single metadata entry. In addition to freely accessible content, there is also protected content for specific user groups. The InK is continuously growing.
