ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe
The archives of ZKM | Karlsruhe invite researchers and anyone interested in art and music to develop new perspectives on the art of the 20th and 21st centuries from books, journals, letters, photographs, drawings, videos, and audio recordings.
The ZKM archive comprises two areas:
»The Institutional Archive« documents the work of ZKM | Karlsruhe, its events, projects, publications and especially its exhibitions over the past 33 years since 1989.
»The Archives of Artists and Theorists« contains the work and documents of media artists, video artists, computer artists, poets and musicians as well as philosophers and thinkers. The archive preserves those materials and makes them accessible to the public.
